| Almond Bar is a Middle Eastern restaurant owned by sisters Carol and Sharon Salloum. They are of Syrian descent and their mother passed authentic recipes onto them to use at Almond Bar. Their dips and almonds are extremely popular at the restaurant, with many of their customers using them for their own dinner parties or gatherings. Every dip and almond is made from scratch with a lot of care taken in the process. Their love of food and hospitality has gained them entry into the SMH Good Food Guide in 2009, 2010 and 2011. They have also featured on SBS Food Safari, Lifestyle Food and Sydney Weekender. They have won awards for their restaurant and continue to provide their customers the same food and hospitality that they grew up with. |
